Just had my composite bonding smile makeover at Islington Smiles. Really pleased with my new smile and love the practice! Can't recommend highly enough!
Had my Invisalign treatment here. All the team were welcoming and friendly, the dentists were patient, explained the process step by step and were always on hand for any questions. Really happy with the results and would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking about getting Invisalign in the future!
Just started Invisalign here and am really impressed by both the luxury clinic and staff. Researched a lot and based on their other location reviews, I chose here at their new site. Really pleased so far.
My friend had been treated at their sister Battersea practice and has been raving about their service ever since, so I decided to try out their newly opened Islington site which was more local to me. I came here for composite bonding treatment and was delighted with the results. The practice is ultra modern and sleek and the dentist is very knowledgeable and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!
At Islington Smiles, we always recommend replacing a missing tooth wherever suitable, and offer a wide range of options including single tooth dental implants.
Single tooth dental implants are designed to replace a single missing or soon to be extracted tooth. Made up of a titanium peg or screw that is implanted into the jawbone to act as the new root for the tooth, a prosthetic tooth is then held in place on top of it.
Single tooth dental implants are one of the most secure and durable replacement options available. They are also comfortable for the patient, easy to take care of, and very natural looking. They can often enhance a smile, leaving the patient feeling more confident when smiling, and they can help return a mouth to full function again.
What is the treatment process like?
The treatment process can take several months and multiple visits to the practice when receiving a single tooth dental implant. We’ll first have to make sure the jaw is healthy enough to accept an implant, which is usually done via X-ray.
Once this has been done, you will be placed under local anaesthetic so you don’t feel a thing while the implant is being applied to the jaw. There’ll then be a wait of a few months while the jaw and implant fuse together. You’ll then come back into the practice to have your personal prosthetic tooth applied.
