What is the treatment process like?

As with all implant treatments, we’ll first make sure this is the correct route for you in a consultation and via an X-ray which will let us know if there is enough healthy jawbone present. Then, you’ll come into the practice to have your four or six implants placed at once. This will be done under local anaesthetic so you’re completely comfortable throughout.

We’ll place temporary prosthetic teeth once this has been done, allowing the implants to fuse with the jaw, and you’ll come back into the practice to have your personal prosthetics placed a few months later. In some cases, we may also need to remove teeth in order to place the implants, which can be done at the first appointment.
