What are veneers?

How do they work?

Veneers sit on top of the natural teeth like a kind of cap. A thin layer of the tooth will need to be removed in order to successfully apply your veneers, but thanks to advancements and innovations in the field, it is much less invasive a treatment than it used to be.

What are they made of?

Veneers are often made of porcelain, a highly durable, natural looking material that can be shade-matched to the teeth. More recently, we have been able to use composite to create veneers. This is another durable and natural-looking option which can be shaped and applied with skill by our dentists.
